Dr. John first joined Stafford Veterinary Center as a new graduate from Auburn University in the early 1980s. After gaining experience with our team, he went on to open and successfully run his own veterinary practice in Lisbon for over 30 years. Following retirement, his love for veterinary medicine brought him back home to Stafford Veterinary Center in September 2023.
Dr. John is especially passionate about companion animal care and client education, ensuring every pet owner feels informed and supported. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys volunteering with the Essex Train renovation project and bringing history back to life—just as he continues to do every day in his veterinary work.
