Our doctors specialize in care for all animals. At our local center we offer excellent small animal medicine. Stafford Veterinary Center has three examination rooms, a radiology room, a fully stocked surgery suite, kennels, and a welcoming yard to walk your pets.

We also offer road call services for your large production and pleasure animals with our two mobile units. With these mobile units we cater to the needs of your farm animals, horses, and any other animals you may keep at your home. We have mobile radiology capability and mobile cold laser capability.

Meet Our Veterinarians

Dr. David Mordasky

Dr. Mordasky was born and raised in Stafford, and graduated from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. Dr. Mordasky and his wife, Judith Mordasky, founded Stafford Veterinary Center and Willington Veterinary Center. It has certainly been quite an experience watching the clinic grow over the years.

Dr. Andrew Mordasky

Andrew Mordasky has been in the veterinary field since birth. He was born and raised in Stafford Springs, and grew up to follow in his father’s footsteps of becoming a mixed practitioner to work back home at the family’s growing practice. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.

Dr. Liz Nutile

Dr. Elizabeth Nutile, affectionately known as Dr. Liz, is a remarkable member of the Stafford Veterinary Center family. Her dedication to animal care and her unwavering commitment to our practice have made her an integral part of our team. Dr. Liz Nutile joined Stafford Veterinary Center in 2019, and her journey with us has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Dr. Nicole Davies

Welcome to the heart and soul of Stafford Veterinary Center, Dr. Nicole Davies, a dedicated and passionate veterinarian with a profound love for animals. Dr. Davies’ journey with us is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the welfare of animals and her tireless pursuit of excellence in veterinary medicine.

Dr. John Dugas

Dr. John first joined Stafford Veterinary Center as a new graduate from Auburn University in the early 1980s. After gaining experience with our team, he went on to open and successfully run his own veterinary practice in Lisbon for over 30 years. Following retirement, his love for veterinary medicine brought him back home to Stafford Veterinary Center in September 2023.

Dr. Katie Clark

Dr. Katie Clark joined Stafford Veterinary Center in September 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from her background in equine specialty practice. Her love of horses runs deep, and she’s thrilled to continue caring for both large and small animals at SVC.

Dr. Casey Pacheco

Dr. Casey joined Stafford Veterinary Center in November 2024 and quickly became a valued member of our team. Her passion for reproduction medicine shines through in her work with C-sections and artificial inseminations, where her skill and compassion make all the difference.

  I love the staff/vets here. They are very kind and compassionate. I've unfortunately lost a few ferrets and they are always accommodating and sweet to me. Another vet I go to is not this way, and these guys here can be much more thorough than the other vet at times. Very Knowledgeable, I highly recommend Dr. Davies for ferret care! Only downside is the pricing, almost double the price of the other ferret vets I've gone to. But the care is what makes me come back! I will always come here.

  My chocolate lab developed an infection I called and they said come right in. I cannot say enough about the care my girl got. The entire staff was amazing. She ended up having to have to different surgery’s. They took such great care of her. My dog looks forward to going to the vet. She can’t wait to she all her friends! ❤️

  Dr. Drew Mordasky, and his tech-Brooke Shuttleworth, are absolute godsends. They are so kind and caring. They have been with me through some of the toughest moments saying goodbye to my heart horse, and miniature pony. In emergencies they’ve also come right out. I owe them everything.
