Surgical Technician
Megan T. joined Stafford Veterinary Center in January 2024 as a Surgical Technician, bringing over 10 years of experience in veterinary care. Her career began at Canine Dogcare and Training, followed by four years at Norwich Veterinary. Megan’s passion lies in helping animals regain a better quality of life, which makes her role at Stafford Veterinary Center especially fulfilling.
A graduate of Tunxis Community College with a Vet Assistant degree, Megan is currently furthering her education in Surgical Technology at Manchester Community College. She has also worked at an aggression and reactivity training facility, further expanding her skills.
Megan’s love for animals is evident in her personal life, as she enjoys adopting senior dogs, particularly those 15 years or older. In her free time, Megan enjoys open water shark diving, participating in 5k runs with her kids, and engaging in various sports. Her favorite animals are sharks and alpacas.
At home, Megan shares her life with a menagerie of pets: Bruno (4-year-old Bully mix), Poochie (17-year-old Silky Terrier), Becca (17-year-old Mini Poodle), Nina (1-year-old Tuxedo Cat), Leo (1-year-old Bengal), and her chickens and ducks.
