Animal Caretaker and Surgical Assistant

Monika is quite the talented hand to have on our team! Originally from Poland, she moved to the states almost a decade ago, and for the past three years has resided in Massachusetts, a short drive to SVC.

Monika completed her management degree from UMASS Amherst, and decided her true passion was working with animals. She is now head first into her veterinary technology degree, and started working alongside our team members to demonstrate her skills and great care for animals! She has explained her favorite thing about this field is getting to make connections with the animals and their owners, and ensure that the animals we see are as comfortable as they can be during their time here. Her favorite animals include turtles as well as cats, which she has two of named Napkin and Amaretto.
